Under this regulation, it will not matter if guns are sold on the internet, at a gun show, or at a brick-and-mortar store: if you sell guns predominantly to earn a profit, you must be licensed, and you must conduct background checks,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland."

It's with a heavy heart that I am here to tell you, that a freedom loving buddy of mine, who I will not divulge and remain anonymous, who is a fed himself, has told me that the happy go lucky guys that work out of a fashionably quaint office near a Foskos coffee shop located in beautiful downtown Pensacola, are actively monitoring this very forum, and are also members of said forum.

I'm going to finish some business that I have going on in here, maybe have a massive "everything must go sale" then I'm going to take a bit of a vacation for a bit. I hear Costa Rica is beautiful this time of year. Nice, balmy climate, and they love Americans.

I think some of the key words are "predominantly to earn a profit " . Now i have not read the law or had it explained to me but it seems that a person that sells a very low number [ # to be determined ] of firearms will not be effected by this . There is a difference legally between a hobby and a business

Nothing new , it’s like most atf rulings, lots of gray area that they can interpret to mean what ever they want at the moment. If for any reason the atf decides that they want punish an individual they will use one or more of the gray area rules to make that persons life miserable. It’s likely that half this forum’s members are either former or current members of law enforcement, many of them are pro second amendment supporters, but you can bet your ass they all aren’t.

Any 3 letter government organization conducts "business" in a manner that generally volatiles our constitutional rights in some form or fashion daily. FBI, EPA, DEA, ATF, IRS, DEP... Sure I missed a few, they can all go to hell and should all be abolished. They look for easy targets while turning a blind eye on the real issues at hand. About the same as the cops who do nothing to combat the real problems.

Of course they’re here on this forum. I can’t imagine making my life’s work harassing law abiding citizens and drumming up ways to entrap them. They’re literally worse than the losers on welfare, and it’s all financed by us.
What makes it more insidious is that according to my fed buddy, is that they've actively engaged with us, have decent message counts, and did meet ups with us at gun shows, range dates etc. Might've even conducted business. That's crazy af.

Legally, I want to say we're safe, but it's wild being infiltrated and spied on, especially as a sworn Florida LEO. (I'm not implying I'm above reproach, LEOs are to be held to a higher standard.) We love the 2nd Amendment down here. And I'm a card carrying Oath Keeper.

Could explain why a couple of members have gone silent recently. There are some here that have blatantly been buying and selling for a profit. I wonder if they've been visited by the feds?

If you aren’t on a few 3-letter lists by now, you’re doing something wrong.

Retired military male who likes guns and hates oath-breaking pieces of Unconstitutional feces? Yeah. Welcome to the club.

To the 3-letter “special” agents getting paid by MY SLAVE WAGES to read this forum ON-DUTY: if you aren’t ashamed of this duty assignment of yours, then YOU are part of the problem. There are PLENTY of criminals just walking across our borders EVERYDAY that could use your attention and handcuffs. But no, you stare at a computer screen and hope to find someone who might have “intent” to violate an unconstitutional inter-office memo written by traitors and cowards. Pathetic.
