    I’m confused. In a private sale is a FFL transfer required.

    The sale would be between two Florida residents.

    There used to be a sticky on this in the firearms section.
    May need to describe your situation further.

    2 parties with drivers license from matching states do not require a transfer.

    I have purchased guns in state and done a transfer. It boils down to what the seller comfortable with. Their gun, their terms. Not the law, but sellers discretion

    In the past I’ve gotten copies of their D/L and/or CCW card. Filled out the Florida Bill of Sale and both parties sign.
