LOP on the blade brace was too short. Swapped in an old 3 position tube and car stock from the parts box. Gained 2 oz. :-(. But works alot better.

Going to set 0 tomorrow on the thermal. A friend of mine told me to nuke the hell out of a potato to use as a target. Should work well.

Another thing that I have found works well is just a square of aluminum foil from the kitchen taped to a target. It doesn't work great when it is really cold out, because the foil shows as cold. I have tried bottles full of hot water and other really hot objects, but they seem to throw a large heat signature, I suppose from radiant heat.

Zeroing today, critters tonight! Probably use the 55gr hornady spire point. Those have preformed well in the past. Plan on 0 at 50 yards or 100. Not sure yet. 16 inch barrel.

0 at 50 yards, right on. Carbon 15 is a fine shooter. Maximum range I'll be shooting is 200.

Something iam noticing is the clarity when it's warm. Humid is way less. Now I know what the extra 1k cost is for on the higher end models I'll bet. Probably not going to be real happy when full summer arrives. I'll work around it. All good.

False alarm. I was just outside playing with it. While the background is a bit fuzzy the targets are bright and crisp. Watched a dog @ 200. And could tell it was a dog. I'll put some pix up.
