Since this user wants to put me on blast I will tell the whole story.

I posted my 22/45 pistol for sale or trade late December /early January , REDHORSE556 sends me a fair trade offer on January 8th to which I tell him I am interested, it takes him till the 11th to find a missing part( cylinder ) for his trade. From the 11th until the 25th I do not hear from him. I still have the pistol up for trade/sale as he has ghosted me at this point.

When he messaged me on the 25th he says he would like to set up to still do the trade but he has to check with his wife as he is “busy” he says he will get back to me later(to which I took as later that day). I do not hear back from him Wednesday 25thor Thursday 26th. On Thursday evening I had another member offer me cash and to meet up that evening (this is common practice from the few deals I’ve done on here) at which point the firearm has sold.

On friday the 26th REDHORSE556 hits me up to want to meet to do the trade to which I inform him that it has sold.

So yes I sold the firearm to someone else but when you ghost someone for 2 weeks and then fail to get back to them when you say you will the sale goes to someone who dosent play games.

I personally have never had a bad interaction with him. We all get busy from time to time. Just my .02

Not the shit on this thread, I have never dealt with the OP and have only had positive conversations with Redhorse ,but it seems that there is a lot of this going on right now. So many of the reviews I have seen lately come across as bitching. Most of us are grown ass men and need to stop acting like little snowflakes when you get your feelings hurt about a deal. There have been a couple times recently where established members have backed out after agreeing to a deal to purchase something that I had for sale. No big deal it happens. People change their mind. There have been a couple of times when a seller has backed out after agreeing to a deal, one I know, for sure was because they sold to somebody else for a higher price. All I can say about that is, it’s not how I personally like to conduct business, but you do you. Again you’re a grown ass man act like it. And seriously I can’t tell you how many times I have had somebody ghost me after asking questions, or telling me that they “are interested”almost to the point that this is starting to feel like Facebook marketplace , I understand the negative reviews if somebody no-shows to a meet, or even tries to renegotiate at a meet, if everything was as described, misrepresents an item or is trying to sell stolen items, But I believe the spirit of having a buyer and seller review section is to protect each other from scam and frauds and is getting way out of hand with the incessant complaining. Just my two cents.

I have never had a physical interaction with him and he may be a decent guy however when someone says they will get back to you and it takes 2 weeks the first time and then they say they will get back to you and don’t most folks will move on to someone motivated to do a deal

Putting someone on blast for not getting a deal 18 days after initiating a trade is childish

Well, forum members! You can’t make everyone happy! I am 52 and have seen a lot and dealt with a lot of people through my short life!
Unfortunately, there are some crybabies on this forum that probably have grown up with the silver spoon! That you just can’t make happy!
Apparently, trying to keep things civil and act like an adult. I apologized to MR. RANGER 1969. For my lack of communication and poor timely manner of getting back to him…
Unfortunately, he must mentally scared from this and wish him the best of luck to recovery!!!!
