      You made your own point - spend the few extra dollars and get factory mags - I shoot a lot of Glock and have NEVER had an issue with a factory mag. For what I do for a living, I cannot have a failure.

      Glock

      Only issue I had swapping from. .40 to a 9mm was the spring was too stiff to run 9mm consistently. Had to put a lighter spring in to get it to cycle 100% correctly all of the time. Now it’s perfect!

      Can anyone recommend a K licensed Instructor in the Pensacola/Ft Walton area? I need to renew my G license and the gentleman that qualified me originally has retired. Any help appreciated!

      I stand by what I said. As a former academy Instructor, a new Officer does what he is trained to do, and doesn't do what he is trained not to do. Experience changes that, and he had very little experience.

      Seems to me that the whole situation shows a significant deficiency in the training the Officer received… Is that the fault of the Officer or the Agency that trained him?

      You can’t do “all 40 hours worth of instruction in 20”… 40 hours worth of instruction takes 40 hours. Your opinion that 20 hours is “PLENTY of time” doesn’t cut it. State law is 40 hours.
