These are bullets only, not loaded ammunition. I bought 2k a few months ago, and have only used bullets from one box. We are moving to Japan and I won't be loading ammo over there. They are from Precision Delta, so you can check out the website here...
I struck it lucky at Walmart when I was in Ohio last summer. I was there with my dad and got 6 boxes of 525 Golden Bullets for $22/box. Haven't seen a .22 down here in months. I agree though, I'd rather shoot my AK once than a .22 twice.
I went ahead and called them since the lot numbers were illegible and they want to replace it anyway. They're sending a mailer and said they'll mail new ammo once they receive the old. Not too keen on letting .22lr out of my control but I'm sure it will be fine. Thanks for the heads up OP.
So your saying if I can buy them for $29 (another shop), I should jump on it? I asked if I bought more if I would get a better price and was told I would have to buy 500+.
Those of you that buy silver; how much over spot will you pay for silver eagles? I called one shop and they want $32, with spot around $23 that seems high to me.
You can go to natchezss.com and sign up to be notified when they are in stock. Their prices are pretty good too. I signed up to be notified when .380 dies became available, and they just came in last week. Got an email, and was able to order that night.
