I have bought several thousand rounds of 147 grain subs from Freedom Munitions. All have been clean and they’re price has been reasonable. They are my go to place for all my bulk ammo. Be patient with them cause they are always offering specials like free shipping and such.
Appreciate the tip sir! I found some Blazer 147 but I can't get concrete info on if it stays subsonic out if a MP5.

For those interested, my baby boy conceived after I submitted two stamps was born Friday, the stamps are still pending 282 days later. My baby boy that can't even crawl is faster than the NFA division.

I can buy a gun (you know the thing that shoots bullets and has so much of the population worked up) and walk out same day after a 10 minute NICS check, BUT a muffler for the gun takes OVER 282 DAYS for approval. The ATF is a joke.

One way to find out. Though, I suspect most likely so; advertised velocity is 950 and even a 16" barrel will increase it 10% at the very most.
@Anangrypasta I answered my own question tonight for the Blazer Brass 147, advertised at 950 fps, out of a 16" Keltec SUB2000 - no, it is NOT subsonic. I'm about to try some of the LAX/Freedom HUSH 165 advertised at 800 FPS. Now out of a pistol I think most 147's will be fine.

2 of 3 approved this morning

Form 1 "free" stamp on pistol-to-sbr conversion

    Submitted 01/25/23
    Paper Prints Delivered 02/07/2023
    Approved 03/20/2023

No ATF/DEA/FBI on my doorstep shooting my dog or putting me in cuffs. Imagine that

as of 5/9/23 still waiting on last approval. It apparently got piled on the bottom of somebodys stack and they keep putting new ones on top of it. Just doesnt seem to make any sense. I called, they have it in the system (which I already knew), but have made no progress.

you can call and check on it. but otherwise you can use the atf website and see that its "in process", which mine has been since Jan25. Hurry up and wait
Exactly where can you see that a form is "in process"? I log into eForms and can see drafts, but no tab or place to see submitted forms.

"Once your ATF Final Rule 2021R-08F Form 1 application is submitted, please refer to the submitted folder of standard eForms.****"

use the NON tax exempt SBR ATF sight. Use this link: https://eforms.atf.gov/login;referrer=/home

Then go to: Home tab, My Forms you will see; SUBMITTED/IN PROCESS. Click on the plus sign. You will see FORM 5320.1 appear. The click the 5320 to see submitted FROM 1's. See screen shot.

Thank you...they now show. I SWEAR the only thing showing before (and I repeatedly logged on and off trying) was "+ DRAFT". And under "DRAFT" were all the times I tried to submit and either the ATF system timed out on my fingerprint file or it didn't have United States as a choice for where I was born, so my application would get stuck on where born.

If you logged on to the TAX FREE SBR part of the ATF sight. Then all you can see is DRAFT for FORM 1's. My computer would automatically log me on the FREE SBR portion. I had to use a search to find the link for the TAX side of the ATF sight. That is why I posted the link to use for log on.

Finally all 3 of 3 complete. Last 2 approved back in March. No issues along the way, must've been passed over or whatever. It's approved, thats all that matters to me at the moment.

    Sbr brace ruling
    Form 1 submitted 1/25
    Prints received 2/1
    Approved 5/24
