Are y’all following the case of the female corrections officer who disappeared while (supposedly) transporting a dangerous felon for a mental health evaluation?
Looks suspicious to say the least.
Turns out there was no mental health evaluation scheduled and protocol was that two officers be present during transport.
I don’t understand why they haven’t been caught. The guy is 6’9”. He should stand out like a sore thumb.

I agree it "looks suspicious". Wasn't she a corrections supervisor? The reason the two officer protocol was violated was she insisted it wasn't necessary. What I have a hard time with is if this suspicious situation turns out to be true, she was willing to trade her current condition for a life on the run and long incarceration if caught. They will be caught. Not a good trade off. IMO Corrections officer, Vicky White had a 9 mm handgun, authorities assume Casey White, who is 6' 9", is now armed and should be considered dangerous. Vicky White is a widow with no children. In the weeks leading up to this "suspicious situation", Vicky White sold her home and put in for retirement after 20 years service, with the Lauderdale County Corrections Department.

Yes, she was in supervision. Not the top dog but “deputy chief” or something like that.
    Bad decision for sure.

Yeah. If you remember there was that case a while back where the inmates filmed themselves doing a mission impossible style movie as they escaped. While using tools that a female CO smuggled in for them to do it with. It didn't take long for them to link it back to a affair they had with the staff as to why they broke the law and gave them the tools etc. So yeah it wouldn't be the first time. I got the alert on my phone. I haven't seen the news about it all yet. Seeing what's been said here so far tho sounds like yeah it's possible she was involved. If not I hope she's OK. I think it's crazy how females can be doing these jobs. That's just me tho. If I was a female, it would be the last place I'd want to be. I dated a girl who said she was a CO or whatever once. She was nutty tho lol. Which may be why she chose that feild.

    BREAKING ALABAMA

    Published May 2, 2022 12:21pm EDT

Arrest warrant issued for missing Alabama correction officer in murder suspect's escape

Alabama correction officer Vicky White wanted on charge of aiding the escape of murder suspect Casey White.

At a press conference, Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton confirmed an arrest warrant has been issued for 56-year-old Assistant Director of Corrections Vicky White on a charge of permitting or facilitating an escape in the first degree.

"We know she participated – now whether she did that willing or if she was coerced, threatened somehow to have participated in this escape, not really sure," he told reporters Monday. "But we know for sure she did participate."

I think it's suspicious that she went against protocol for 2 people to be escorting a big guy who's been charged with murder. He most likely could easily over power her so why did she deny having a second person, pretty sure she's involved IMO!

As a current CO. I don’t think you should be so quick to say “Unsavory” is the norm.
I didn't say its the norm, that would be foolish. It's not shocking in the least bit though. Yeah I think there are a higher than normal amount of "Unsavory" individuals working in the field. This is pure opinion based on people ive known who work in corrections and several people who have been incarcerated. No offense directed towards you.

Some of these prisoners must have a line a mile long.
A few years ago there was a female defense attorney that helped her client escape.
Lonely women ( and men) can do some strange things.

I think your wrong to say higher than normal. There are less former Correctional Officers in jail and prison than there are most of the other professions in this country. It just makes for good liberal media headlines when one does get in trouble over your neighborhood realtor getting busted for child porn.

We can agree to hell with liberal media and their headlines and that's what matters brother.

Updated photo of escapee Casey Cole White. "He has nothing to lose with his violent past," Lauderdale Sheriff Rick Singleton said. "He is extremely dangerous." Both Whites may be armed, according to authorities.
