Would you have chosen the mask over the switchback if it was in stock?
At the time I was sold on the dead air mask but I was looking at Silencershop, as stated dead airs were out of stock, so not being in a hurry to buy one I just put the idea on the backburner. I happened to go by McCoys outdoors in Mobile and as always got in a conversation about the dead air, just so happened they had one in stock but the guy behind the counter asked me had I considered the switchback. At the time I had never heard of the switchback so I came home and did my homework. After all the considerations I settled on the switchback. Both are rated the same but the switchback has a little more versatility plus the price was better for the switchback.

I have a Hydra I use on my 22's. I bought it because it is what the dealer had on hand. But I am satisfied with my purchase.

The thing I like about the Sparrow is the compact size and easy to disassemble and clean.
If you but a can I suggest you get one of these as well. You will not regret it. You'll find things to clean you never thought of cleaning. Oh and I use Simple Green in mine. Seems to work very well.

Deminsions are overall I'm sure. How big is the inside? Would like to pick one up that will do larger cans.

Does anybody know anything about the Q El Camino? The same price range and warranty as the Oculus and Mask. I am looking for a can that would be dedicated to 22 bolt rifle.

There are a lot of good reviews, but from listening to videos it didn't seem to have the tone I was after.

My first 3 cans took 7 months. My latest is 9.5 months and counting waiting on the tax stamp.
