I enjoy his dry concise videos. You'll enjoy it more if you watch the entire video.

FYI the comments say he has the poem memorized. " It was from memory. He recited it to us during our National Guard annual training while in the field. 20 something years ago. He has it to memory as well as the Patton speech."

My Staff Sergeant had it memorized, too. From his college days. We had to keep traffic up on our sat-comm link or else we'd lose the channel. I was on radio watch that night when Staff Sergeant came by, realized I was running out of steam and imagination, and he belted out the whole poem like it was nothing... Had absolutely no impact on me choosing "Raven" as a screen name 20 years later... complete coincidence

Lol. These are for weredeer, you know the ones you shoot and they disappear. Well not with these!
A lot of GI's were deer hunting with 8mm Mausers bring-backs and FMJ. I'll admit I condemned the practice when I heard about it, until I looked at the ballistic charts and saw that an FMJ 8mm Mauser was equivalent to a 300 WinMag. I'm sure they dropped many animals right dead in their tracks! The Germans knew what they were doing! Go big or go home when you want to drop something with one shot
