Ordered 2 of these to try with trs25. Don't know if it will work but always need extra mounts. Will get used on something!

The first thing I did to mine was the stainless feed ramp from MCarbo. I also polished internals while doing this. The plastic feed ramp had less than 100 rounds and showed a lot of wear.
I wondered about this, nobody had mentioned the feed ramp.

My Gen 1 fed all bullet weights equally. I never shot much past 25 yds due to the primitive sights and my aging eyes. I never tried steel cased ammo although my Stag Arms dedicated lower AR with the stick mags runs through the steel cased with zero problems. As a side note 147 gr FMJ were probably the most accurate in my Stag AR so they would definitely be worth trying in your Sub 2000!

Where did you order from? I tried a one from amazon and its a good idea. But the set screws it came with were too short. Had to find longer screws

Sounds like it. I think that was the price also. Its been awhile
With the longer screws it worked though? Looks like it's closer to 30 deg than 45. Will try it mounted left, as I shoot left. Should place the on/off at 12 posit. (Trs25) my favorite micro optic.

Reading this am, looks like it's safe to shoot +p and +p+. In it. ( limited diet). Wonder what the ballistics are on that with the 16 inch barrel. I'd imagine +1400 or so.
The 9mm in 16” barrel Should be at or over .357 magnum power range. Cant remember if that compared to 4” or 6” barrel. But the power is there

After doing some looking at the parts, I wonder how hard it would be to cut a carbine buffer tube and slip over the tube so you could use factory AR stock? If not mil spec maybe a commercial one. Looks doable, couple of cuts and maybe a longer pin for the buffer/latch. What yall think??
