Just got my first pcp rifle a seneca Recluse in 357. I like it alot. I plan on deer and hog hunting with it. I also got the high pressure compressor, if anyone needs a free fill up to 4500 psi it would be no problem, I only have a female quick disconnect connection.

Iron sight, back yard about 25-30yards. range definitely in the near future. About eight shots on highpower, idk in low power. Been having problems with the current ammo, ordering something different.

Are the bullets supposed to be shot dry or lubed first?? Also don't see a bore size on the box (.357? .358?)
Also this could be the future of firearms if stuff keeps going like it is. I like the idea of it, no case, no powder, no primers, no reloader. One of the members has a 357 bullet mold for sale even.

Some people clean and lube, I guess I am going to try it. What I have shot great in the beginning now they get stuck.
Full auto air rifles/pistols are legal w/o a stamp as well! They had one at Academy that was calling my name!
The next one will be full auto. So many to choose from. I wish they had full auto 50cal.

Nice gun for your first pcp. What compressor did you get? I've got 2 pcp's that I'm hand pumping, not too bad, good exercise. But I can see getting tired of that in the future, especially with the Avenger which is a 4,350 fill up!

Yep, it's about 100 pumps to get 2000 psi. For roughly 20 shots of .22 - grandkids, neices are handy.

The Avenger's a little better than that. When filled to 4,200-4,300 I can get about 80-90 shots, with the power setttings I use that would take a little less than 200 pumps. But I rarely (once) shoot that many before re-filling. Usually shoot 30-40 then it takes 85 or less. Equals out to about 2 to slightly more pumps per shot. I only target shoot so regulator and hammer spring are set fairly low, pushing up the power would use much more air. The Beeman Chief also takes about 2 pumps per shot.

Yeah, the Benjamin discovery is preset. 26.5 foot pounds of power. Its the entry level pcp. Using Williams peep sight on it. Very accurate. Green Mt barrel or Walther I forget which.
