Just met a member at Academy - 3/1/21 to make a ammo swap -- at 1330, they had about a hundred boxes of 556 M855 (20 round box) on the shelf in the back ($12.99).They also had about 10 boxes of 40SW Hornday Defense ($29.99) and a handful of CCI 22shotshell at the front ($9.99). Also had 2 boxes of 45ACP in the back - top shelf.

    Went by at 3:00.
They had about 30 boxes of Win 5.56 FMJ 62 grain at $12.99. About half a dozen .40, a few .22 shotshells and about a dozen boxes of 12 gauge Estate 7 1/2 and 8s.
I bought a box of 8s just because I hate to let a good panic go to waste.
I guess the 5.56 is pretty decent compared to today’s prices but I loaded up when it was 25 cents a round so didn’t buy any.

Met with a member in the same lot so I swung by. It's the first time I've seen a line for an ammo ration! They had 40, 45, and big boxes of 556. By the gun section was a few shotgun boxes and some 7.62x51.

I was shuffling through some old stock and it reminded me of when places use to run sales.
We’ve turned 180 degrees in the market

Heck, I can remember when a 50 round box of .22 was 50 cents. I don’t remember bulk packs when I was a kid.

The gun and ammo cases at Pace Walmart yesterday. The clerk asked if he could help me and I said “With what? You don’t have anything to sell. I feel like I should be selling YOU some.”

You musta came 5 mins after me. I got the last box of ammo. 350 legend all by itself in that big empty case. Guy did say he had some 12 ga bird shoot! I told him I was good for that!

From the look of the line this morning they are getting it
When the stores are empty of food, then I may stand in line. Otherwise, NOPE!-:) But thank Obama for "encouraging" many of us to get ammo before the next communist led crisis!

I once took a pic of the gun cabinets at Academy when they had guns in them and the special guy told me I couldn't do that. I said, why? He said because of serial numbers!-:)
