Looking for old 2 cylinder John Deere tractors. I collect them and always looking for non-running old JD’s. Need parts tractors. Can’t pay for sentimental value, if you have one out in the woods, in the barn. left out in a field and want to get rid of it I’ll offer you a fair price. Looking for John Deere models A, B, G, H , M, 40, 420, 430, 50, 520, 60, 70, etc

    Good luck Dixie!
I appreciate old tractors also. Had a Model 40 row crop back in the 90’s.
Pretty good torque to mow field of bahia grass with to 60” bush hog.

Inherited my Dad’s 1954 NAA Ford and it struggles in 1st gear to cut the same grass. Guess a overhaul would help a bit.

I joined the Baldwin County Antique Tractor club. They have meetings at the Senior Center in Robertsdale 1st Thursday of the month.

I’ve got 20 vintage tractors in several barns, most are JD’s (two cylinders)
Wish there was some interest in my direction to have a club. Oldest tractor I’ve got is 100 yrs old this year. 18 of the 20 run and get used off and on, not used much but ready at a moments notice. JD parts are way out of whack in prices so I’m looking to find some junkers to park in the woods for spare parts.

A few more, boys it’s a bad addiction like firearms , I grew up on a JD 40 that Daddy had and never got that Johnny Popper sound out of my head. Thanks to anyone that send some tips on where any are sitting at wasting away

I have a friend at work with a large international tricycle tractor that he wants to get rid of. He uses it and it has a bush hog if I remember.

I’ve had over 60 tractors in the last 30 years I’ve fixed up and sold or traded off, wife always knows I’m busting knuckles on em if it’s not hunting season

Interesting, I usually rather buy somebody’s non-running junker at a cheap price, one that somebody has that does run usually priced above what I want to pay. Find out what he’s got and how much, I got a friend up at Sylacauga that’s a Farmall/International tractor guru that will travel all over the southeastern states looking for them
