Good luck! I use a lot of Unique too. Basically unobtainable since Alliant stopped production due to lack of nitrocellulose. I just started trying BE-86 as a substitute. So far I’ve only tried it in 44 Special with superb results. Use Unique starting load and work up as it is slightly slower. I needed 7.6gr in 44 Special vs 7.5gr Unique. Cleaner burning, measures better, and available. Deciding on which cartridge to try BE-86 on next. I think I’ll try it in a rifle cast bullet load.
