    Impeccable condition Enfield British 303 No. 4 Mk 2. Unfired. From what I can find, it was built in 1955. One ding on the forehand (can be seen in the first photo near the clamp in the middle of the barrel), but otherwise in impeccable condition. Weighs a little over 8.5 pounds and has a 24" barrel. It really is a beautiful rifle.

    FYI, from my research, this rifle is one of 20,000 made in 1955 made for the UK Ministry of Defense for R.A.F. issue. Most were put into war reserve storage for 40 years before being sold.

    I’m not an expert, just a reasonably knowledgeable individual.

    I believe " a 1,000 yard rifle" of yesterday. Beautiful!
    I once owned a .303 Jungle Carbine, which was in like condition. Back in the late 60s, they were $100 buys.

    I have one of those too. I can't sell that as it is an heirloom from my father-in-law. They are fun rifles to shoot.
