(In the interest of full disclosure, I built the website. I am also ex law enforcement, a Constitutionalist, a concealed weapons carrier and a supporter of local business and my intent with this post is to support Paul with his new business. The way I understand it, Friday will be to late to get the discount.

I doubt it's more than 10 minutes for me. I'll be spoiled.

The range is super nice. Big store but not a whole lot of stock yet.

They even have rocking chairs on the front porch for us old farts.

I talked to Paul Hartley, the owner, this morning.

The shooting range will be open this Saturday, the 17th, 8am to 6pm.

There will be BBQ and refreshments as well as a raffle for a Mossberg .22 with a 3x9x40 scope, 500 rounds of 22LR and an Engle 35 quart cooler! $5 entry.

Shooting/self defense classes are coming soon also.

I put it in another post but I will add it here. I have been to 3 ranges here and that is the BEST ONE BY FAR. You can shoot out to 3 hundred yards. There shooting lanes have dividers so you aren't hit by Mini 14 brass. That would save jj from my brass.LOL

The people are supper nice, They had free cold bottled water on the range. Target stands a plenty. Even if you had to drive an hour it is worth it. Like John posted it hard to see if you are comming from the south on 59 but I saw a land mark for me. There is a fire look out tower and a large billbourd right by the range.

Yes.I think John said 7.8 or 8.7 miles. I'm old and can't remember those kind of things. But not far,Dosen't take 10 min to get there off the interstate. It's north.

    Is it north of I-10?

It's almost impossible to see until you are past it when traveling north because the north bound lanes are at a lower level than the south bound lanes. It's 7.8 miles north of I-10.

Yup, that's why I missed it on my recent trip up to Yankee land.
