Been eyeballing this for some time now. Has anyone ever tried one of the barreled PSA AK build kits? I'd read somewhere that these were actually blems, unlike everything else PSA sells as a "BLEM" as to have sales and not depreciate their brand value.

Anyways, this kit plus a stock set with wood grip/handguard and EPT trigger is like $860 shipped, which is hundreds less than buying a finished one. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on these?

I want a 5.56 Ak so bad, but PSA has had so many issues with the metallurgy and feeding on these. Someone I know said the 101/102s are a "sore topic" at PSA.

I really don't get it. They managed to make a pretty solid line of 7.62 guns but the 5.45 and 5.56 guns are giving them a ton of trouble. I've been eyeballing a 102 for a while (12.5" AK is the sweet spot imo) but haven't pulled the trigger because of that.

I dont get it either. The 102/105 is peak AK aesthetic and function IMO.
