Any interest in a Reloading Component Trading Thread ? ( Maybe a Sticky )

Don't know if you good folks have seen the latest price hikes especially rifle powders . With IMR powders over $ 60 a lb MSRP . I'm sure I'm not the only one who has stuff that I'll most likely never get to that's either new or dang near it . Probably a good chance we've got something the other guy can use & vice versa . Bein' a geezer on a fixed income the no cash aspect I find attractive . Guns & ammo pretty well covered already & reloading aint as common nor is bullet casting .

I like the idea, but it does conflict with the you gotta post a price requirement. Thus it would need to be trade only with no payment and separate from the for sale forums.

Agreed have to take the price requirement out of the equation . Limit it to full factory sealed items . Be easy enough to put a comparative value on such .

Yes. And eventually maybe even swap-meets in Alabama and Florida.....I'd be willing to pay for a table at the next R'dale show and set up there.....

Well seems to be some interest . What if interested parties paw thru what they'd consider swapping & make a list . Declare interest in this thread & interested parties can PM each other to start .

Remember , the OP said reloading components , I read this as primers, powders & bullets and NOT equip. you have collected over the years and no longer use. as , there is already another section where you can post what you want to sell OR trade .
I don't think it will work , even if it's limited to components , how many times have you seen posts where the OP totally disregarded the posted rules regarding the selling of something ? And the mods had to do what ever they do to correct it.

Yup something along them lines . As I suggested confine it to trade only reloading components . If we stick to complete ie no partially full factory sealed items value is easy enough to acertain without having to put a cash value out there .
