These stupid b......s have done it. Govt shutdown pending. Who of us has to go back to work with no guarantee of getting paid? Welfare recipients don’t. Their checks will not be affected. Neither will Congress’. How’s that for fair.

I got an e-mail to report Monday AM for further instructions. I've never been sent home as most of our work is "pre-funded" (military construction, flood control projects etc.) so I guess the money is setting there and not affected. May be different this go around! Seems strange all this is about people that aren't even citizens.

It's not a "shutdown". It's a "paid vacation". Everyone who is sent home will get paid for the time retroactively. This needs to change.

It is simple. Crybaby trump didn't get his way. He wouldn't even accept the first two bi-party compromises, so he allowed the government shutdown. It is not the fault of the Democrats.

The dems speak from both sides of their mouths and are pro illegals and anti Americans, send them home in 2018 they will lose BIG! The wall is going to be built and paid for by mexico in the end, both virtual and fixed.

I have never seen a more anti America party than the dems and those that support them in my life. JFK would be turned away today as a dem, Lenin would be celebrated and elected by them.

Anyone who see's this and still agrees with shutting down the government to prevent funding the wall, keep chain migration, keep the "lottery" system and provide citizenship to 800,000, oops I mean 3.6 million plus the 10 to 20 others each may bring in is a treasonous bastard and deserves the punishment that treason brings.

This is so sad that it is funny. The Republican party controls both houses of Congress, the Presidency and the Supreme Court and they still cannot pass a budget. Worse they have no idea what they want. So naturally they blame the Democrats.
