I wonder how it will work as a pocket carry gun. I have been pocket carrying a Kahr CM9 for about 5 years. I tried a G43, but found it a bit big for pocket carry. If this was closer in size to the CM9, but with 10 rounds, it would be my perfect carry.
Yeah I've read three press releases but no mention of trigger weight, travel, wether it's da, sa or precocked, all anyone is talking about is size vs capacity. Soldier systems did point out how many times and ways they dropped it to avoid that mess, but also mentioned failure to go to battery on his and many other testers on the first day.
Oh speaking about size I looked up the specs on a popular option that's been available for quite some time, the glock 26. It's longer by a half inch(with a corresponding longer barrel), and technically wider. full disclosure, I don't own a glock and have no interest in buying one. Just wanted too compare.
Road and track used to start giving a score for "driver excitement" when Mercedes, Audi and Subaru's out preformed BMW in their tests, leading the beemers to get better scores.
I'm sure the online gun magazines will start giving points for "asthetics", "owner pride" and "signess" to whoever buys ad space during shoot offs and comparisons.
Apparently it uses a serialized trigger group, like the p320 BUT nothing is interchangeable with the 320. This is imo actually positive, the 90 degree grip angle and double tall slide on the p320 seemed like a big step back compared to every other striker pistol coming out. I'm hoping that solid trigger and long looking length of pull means is true DAO(which would also explain the misses in the get some article), although I'm prettt sure that'll make it dead in arrival with sales.
I'm assuming instead of blackstraps like everyone else, they'll offer different sized frames.
The malfunctions were from the soldier systems daily article. Author said he saw others have the same issue and was sure it wasn't his riding the slide lock. He also mentioned none of the staff or reps could say what lubrication they were using. Sounds too me like they were running dry guns in the cold.
