I purchased it for my daughter when she turned 21. it is a little large for her carry gun so now she wants a compact springfield XD 9mm. about a year ago she purchased a Taurus 85 5 shot revolver but has since decided a semi auto is the way to go which is what I told her then. kids!!!!!!!
I have the 40. Was one of my first semi auto's. I can shoot it better than most of my other handguns. There are inexpensive parts to lighten the trigger, and I also was told a while back that Smith will actually do it for free. Not sure if that's the case any longer. But these things just work. I've never had one hiccup.
