I have built an AR10, but its not feeding ammunition correctly because I made my own lower. I was told I have to match the Lower with the Upper.

That said, I need an AR10 Lower made by Aero Precision.

I only see 308 DPMS lowers on their sight. Not AR10?

What's the problem? Not feeding how? Any other trouble shooting accomplished at this point?

Aero is DPMS patterned. MOST are but you've got the weirdos with Rock River, M&P etc. It's easiest to keep it all from the same manufacturer.

The wrong buffer will cause feeding problems. DPMS 308 lowers use a different buffer than AR15.

Buffer tube length, buffer and spring are all worth a look. The Aeros use a standard AR buffer tube, 308 buffer and 308 spring BUT I've seen some of their 308 springs that are on the heavy side(too many coils) that give you bolt over round resulting in FTF/FTE

    Details/pics would help.

Im using an 80% Lower I did myself. When I pull the charging handle back, the round will only half feed into the chamber. I see that it my mag doesnt sit as high up as it could... so a friend told me i needed a lower that was the same brand of upper I was using.

Ill upload a few pictures later. :)

I've got an Aero stripped lower in FDE, it's the Betsy Ross edition. $150 OTD if you're interested. You can get the black a little cheaper but after shipping/transfer it'll be close to $150
