I have owned and carried snub guns for quite some time now. This, both for primary CCW and for a BUG to something else.
I currently have two. One is a S&W Mod 642. I carry it loaded with standard pressure ammo. Also same ammo in a speed loader. This gun will default to my primary carry if needing something for deeper cover or a quick trip here or there if I do not want to put on my "normal" wardrobe.
If I have to go to the gas station to get more lawnmower gas,or a quick trip to get bread or milk,or to Lowe's for two more bags of potting soil or another couple 2 X 4's. I have and old camo vest that I slip on and drop the snubby in the pocket.
These are two options that I have found to carry my 642. One is an old (and cheap ) Fobus holster. I cut the belt clip/paddle thingy off and simply slip the whole thing into my pocket. It is small, light, not much wider than the cylinder of the gun,and the retention is pretty positive. I am right handed and can quite easily push the holster off the gun by putting my thumb on it just in front of the guns cylinder release. When it unsnaps it falls away from the gun very quickly.
The next carry option is a Blackhawk brand pocket holster. What is different about this holster is that the outside is EXTREMELY sticky. The inside is really slick. The holster will not even start to come out of your pocket with the gun still inside. There is also enough of the gun sticking out to easily grab the entire grip.
These are a great way to pocket carry . --- SAWMAN

I carry a performance center 442 daily using the desantis “clip grip” that comes factory on the performance center models. I carry it every day and it disappears and is comfortable even in my tucked in uniform polo.

No sir, they will not. Not the HKS #36 anyway. I carry them in that manner because I hate speed strips and I prefer all the ammo dumped into my hand at one time.
I do the same for my Ruger 44 mag carbine and my pistol chambered lever guns.
Hold the speed loader in the palm of your hand with the bullets faceing downward. Spin the knob with your thumb and pointer finger. All 5 rds fall out into the center of your hand. ---- SAWMAN

Sawman, I carry a 642 in my front pocket without a carry holster. Since this is double action only I am not concerned about an accidental discharge. You can carry the speed loader in the same pocket if you are not worried about scratching that safe queen. A bandana will breakup the outline of the revolver and help hold it in place. I use a 5 Star speed loader and it clears the grips. The rounds are a little lose compared to the HK but are more forgiving on the reloads. The same model can be used in my Ruger LCR.

I use a uncle mikes iwb thing that I cut the clip off for my 642, and another with the clip still on for walking the dog.
Sometimes when weather permits a jacket I'll use an old bianchi shoulder rig. I REALLY like it since it's pretty fast to present, and I can get to it as easily with my left hand as right.

I carry Winchester +p's, the ones with the stupid names that are just reboxed rangers. Recoil is brisk, but the internet says it punches deep enough with expansion. I don't worry so much about expansion but I buy into the 12" minimum.

I know a hks will clear houge bantam, which are imo good grips. I currently use a set of crimson trace I robbed off a Taurus snub. Idk if a speed loaded will clear them since I moved on too speed strips, mostly since they work with all of my revolvers so it's easier on logistics. Too each their own, but about the last thing I'd want to do in a fight is juggle loose rounds.

I tend to prefer carrying an all steel snubbie in an Galco IWB holster (the scout) or a Remora holster. My favorite carry snubbie is a pre-lock 649. I also like the Model 60 with a set of Pachmayer compact grips. I carry a single speed strip.

I have a couple of airweights, a 640 and a pre-lock Model 38. I tend to carry these IWB in a Remora holster.

I have one of the 5Star speed loaders on the way. If I like it,after some practice, will order another.
Put a spring kit in my last 642 but this gun has a "different" feeling trigger. The pull through is in stages. There is clearly a stop before hammer drop. Will devote some time for practice with that also. I prefer not to lighten the pull with a spring kit if not needed. This gun is a "non lock" gun.
I put a spring kit in my wifes 642 EDC gun and she loves it. It is in a small holster in her carry purse.
These are great little guns and I saw a couple of days ago some distributor has them on sale for waaaaay under 3C$'s. Might have been Mike's actually. ---- SAWMAN
