He wasn't complaining, I bet most of us at some point have had a gun that used expensive ammo. Just figured I would let the people who may be looking for 375 Win locally know the price.

I also have a big bore and recenntly ordered ammo for it and it ain’t cheap! Also brass is over $1 a pop I if you can find it. have yet to reload any brass and will probably need assistance setting up my press. Not because it’s really that difficult at all, however I want to be sure it’s right for what you pay per round eleven shooting reloads?

I have a neat little Ruger No. 3 chambered in 375 Winchester, and the problem that I see with finding ammo is not that it's not available; it is available but the people selling it know that its a high-demand item so they charge an exorbitant price for it. I bought a couple of boxes from Wisconsin Cartridge and a couple from Colorado Cartridge Company, and the amount that I had to pay for them would have probably bought 10 -15 boxes of 30-06.

Would you take $350. for that #3 chambered in 375Win. ?? NO !
Then why would you think that someone would want less than the "supply and demand price" for the ammo ??
IMO the 375Win is a reloaders chambering. You buy the gun either EXPECTING to reload for it or expecting to go broke feeding it.
I have done this many times.--- SAWMAN

Yep they say it will work and I believe them. But it cost $64.50 per box of 20 rounds.

Would regular 38-55 loads work? You can get stuff from Black Hills and HSM for 20-30 a box. It’s cowboy spec stuff (lower power) but if it works, it’d be a more cost effective way to get up and running with factory ammo. The B.B. article is kind of vague on standard 38-55.

I believe it would work , but I'm not an expert and didn't stay in a holiday inn express last night.
