    Mouth watering... This was marketed as the "Rifleman's Rifle"... Several years ago an outdoor magazine was doing an article on these and they bought one in fair condition... they didn't mention the price. They cleaned the bore and with factory ammo and a cheap scope shot 1/2 inch groups. Gun price guides reveal that just the action with the bolt is valued at $500.00 If this was any other caliber, I'd be all over this.
    GLWS, but I don't think you'll need much..

    I was surprised at the low price also! I like the caliber and don’t need this but would surely scarf this up if I had the cash! This was made when they made rifles the right way in my opinion!

    You got to remember when it was bought, it cost around $120.00, cause I bought 2 of them 1 featherweight 243 and 1, 300WM for around $120.00 or so back in the late fifties are early sixties, still got the 243 and the 300WM was stolen from my Mom's house while I was in the army 1962 to 1965 :noidea:
