Hey man, upper's where it counts (within reason)
    You’re absolutely right.
However, nothing says “I used the absolute cheapest crap I could find for this build” quite as eloquently as an Anderson lower. Lol
    JMO, YMMV, blah blah.

    Lol :)

I will say, there is definitely a quality difference as far as overall fit and finish. Personally, I like Aero Precision, then Spikes, and after those two it's a tossup for me. Never got into the boutique stuff or billet, just seems like a waste on a lower to me. Like you said, JMO, YMMV, so on and so forth.

I’ve never seen a barrel costing more than $100 on an Anderson lower build. True story.
I LOVE my new lower, especially since there’s no stupid cartoons or billboards on it.

Anderson Mfg: giving cheap bastards reason not to spend their hard earned money on quality firearms since 1983. That's not purple, it's "anodized"!!!

Anderson is about the cheapest around, but have you ever had one that didn't work?

They work just fine from what I’ve seen. A lower made of wood or plastic will work as well.
My point is that they advertise that it’s a bottom of the barrel type of build.

Only when I've had a long grip screw and/or wanted my lower to be black.

Yeah, they work. But they are the bottom of the barrel. Nothing wrong with that but don't church it up.

Half assed builds start with half assed lowers.
Anderson fills this niche really rather nicely.

I'll have to take your word for it. I don't own any rifles with anderson lowers. The only one I've put together has pretty expensive name brand parts. I guess the plus to that is that I didn't have to fit or modify any thing it was very easy to assemble.

If anyone has any info on the Titan Ballistics products I would be interested in reading up on them. Not much found during better part of an hour searching other than no one has heard of them. Have gotten on their email list for now. Looks like they may be currently out of the ar15 raw lowers but also have ar10 lowers for $50-75 each and doesn't say out of stock on them.
