I never shot the minis but it cycled regular shells fine. Fro what I read, the minis are very popular with this shotgun.

Mine cycles everything from mini shells through 3" magnums fine. It holds 12 mini shells per tube plus one in the chamber.

Not me or my KSG but this guy shoots his 25 times in this video.
