i have a 1917 colt revolver that I would like to convert to .45 colt and I want to get some of you smart people's opinions.
this firearm is a shooter and not a collector grade pistol so history will not be adversely impacted. someone told me that
a .45 colt new service cylinder would have to be used and the supply of those is pretty much non-existent.
my question is can the .45acp cylinder be drilled out, or modified in some way to achieve what I want?
thanks
