I really hate it when a seller sets a number of posts that a prospective buyer must have in order to buy his for sale item.

I know who that guy is, and I'll tell you when you get over 7,500 posts.

Thanks man. I've had a couple before and got to missing them, last June I thought I'd try to track one down. Found the stainless interarms(32) at a show in Pensacola right after that. Then about a month later someone asked if I was interested in their nickel manurhin(380). Then about a month after that someone I know from work said they were looking too sell their 380(blued west German walther). Kinda regretted the last one, day after I got it a shop had a East German makarov for 350$.

Then yesterday my guy sent me this picture IMG_0247.jpg

I guess now I'll find a Bulgarian and a baikal, so I can live off ramen for almost a full year.

Honestly I'd rather they all be 32, it's like shooting a (very accurate) air gun. FMJ will punch through 20" of person, which meets FBI's 12. And most 380 hollow points won't.

not trying to be a smart ass here but a JHP isn't designed to "punch through" it's made to expand upon impact

I understand that, but there's a reason the FBI wants 12" minimum penetration. Some people buy into the reasoning, some don't. I do.

I agree that with smaller caliber handgun rounds, penetration is critical because you are just not going to get reliable expansion. When I carry a .32 (I have a Beretta tomcat and my Manurhin ) I go with a 71 or 73 grain fmj.

MAXman, I agree that the .32 is a pleasure to shoot. I can shoot mine almost as fast as a .22. I had a three Walthers in 380 and I never really liked to shoot them. But my .32 PP is a joy to carry and to shoot. The sights leave a lot to be desired because my version was made back in the 1950s but the gun has been flawless and inherently accurate.

380 just isn't very great in the ppk. I've had other pistols chambered in it that were awesome, but with the walthers it's just not as fun as 32. I will say the hogue grips on the manurhin really help vs stock, it sounds odd but the tranistion from the back strap and factory grips bangs against my thumb and index knuckles. I suspect a true ppk(not /s) wouldn't have that problem with them being wrap around.

That being said the 380's are both as accurate in slow fire and the ammunition is easier to find, with a better selection. It's interesting you mentioned sights because all three of mine have identical dot the i, even the 1974 model.
