Hello all, as u can see I hardly post, but I now need some um "professional advise". I have been sitting on this smith model 3 top ejector and have finally decided to list her or send her off. It is a 38 S&W not special. And ammo is harder to locate but midway still has some. I have discharged it once to see if it functions. So here it is and any info wold help me make the haRd decision. Approximate value as is and would refinish decrease or increase value? The serial number is 2300xx
I xxed out the last digits. It has been in the same holster for God's know's when. Thanks again yellow. And I might trade for something after value and decisions are made. 1508862040251.jpg 1508862039262.jpg 1508862039438.jpg

S&W .38 Double Action 3rd Model manufactured between 1884-1885 approximately 200,000 made. Best value estimate I found is $150-$200. The grips are not original.

DO NOT SHOOT MODERN SMOKELESS LOADS IN THIS REVOLVER!!!!! This was a black powder cartridge revolver and not built for smokeless loads.
