Anyone have a good way to get rid of moles? One or more is all over my yard lately.
    Thanks for any ideas.

PS: I'm out of dynamite, nitro glycerin and C4 at the moment so will need something less volatile!:boom:

I had a problem with them last year and once they ate up all their food source, grubs I think, they just disappeared or moved on to my neighbors property.

Moles are there eating mole crickets, get rid of them the moles will follow. Otherwise I have a brown nosed tabby for lease, she's a mole's worst enemy.

I've constantly got moles in my yard. When I had cats, every once in a while I would find a dead mole but no cats now.
I tried one of those spring loaded spikes and it didn't work. I've put pellets down the hole, didn't work. I've about given up.

I've got no cats but there are so many loose in this neighborhood I'm surprised any little critters survive. Found another 4 or 5 holes this morning...

Like the 2 others said, remove the food source and they'll leave. Keep that 70+ bug killer granules that kill ants, grubs, mole crickets, roaches, etc... When they're dead and gone, so will be your moles.

Jim Tom my kitty cat does a number on moles when the happen onto my yard.

Once I crammed the garden hose in a recent mole mound and flooded it.
In no time a big mole popped out and I stomped it.

cats love little furry squeakytoys that smell like dirt..and dogs..

my two big old 7 month old goober hound labs work together around big trees, one on either side, when the treerat scoots around the other side, the other dog gets it..

score: 3 squirrels so far, who knows about the moles and wabbits...

You can apply Talstar with a fertilizer spreader, once in the spring, once in the fall and get rid of all the bugs and the moles. Mole cricket adults are near impossible to kill, but only live a couple of years, so you're trying to kill the nymphs that hatch each spring and fall. A year or two usually does the trick, but you'll probably want to keep applying as Talstar kills everything bug-wise.
