The weather is getting cooler and I'm looking for a light jacket for OWB carry. I have always used a regular wind breaker jacket which is ok but I was just wondering if anyone has used any particular brand that stands out. Thanks

Wrangler/Levi truckers jacket. I had an extra pocket sewn inside to carry my Detonics .45. But if you prefer the OWB, get the jacket in Long, it should drop further past your belt/waist to cover the weapon.

Would you mind posting a picture of that?

When you consider a jacket to wear when carring a concealed weapon, please not only consider how it will effectively cover the weapon, but how the weapon will be presented in a quick smooth draw.
You might not have the time or the number of hands available to unbutton or unsnap the jacket if the weapon is needed rather quickly.
I started carring a concealed weapon back in the late 70's while in the military but wearing civilian clothes. It was absolutely mandatory for me not to expose my weapon under any circumstance. I found it very difficult to find the proper holster (Colt Combat Commander in 38Super),belt,and garments needed to stay concealed. Especially if not wearing a suit type jacket.
I finally settled on a semi light windbreaker type garment. Heavy enough not to ride up,but light enough to pull up with my thumb.
I would only suggest that you pick your jacket carefully. Leave it unbuttoned/unzipped and/or have it fit a little big. A darker color would be better also. ---- SAWMAN

Here you go. I have another Wrangler Truckers Jacket that I've cut the sleeves out of to make it a vest. I used the sleeves to make the "extra" pocket. Double stitched and doubled sewn. The pistol sits good in it, but I probably will add a elastic 2" strip on the inside just to hold it a bit better. I have easy access to it if needed. No printing or extra bulge. As a matter of fact, I sometimes forget it's even there. Also, it is deep enough to hold a full size pistol, but the jacket will most likely wear lopsided due to the extra weight. I added an extra pocket on the other side too. I put my extra mags in it. It has the elastic strip to hold them. Just think of a shotgun shell belt. And sew them (elastic strip) on the inside of the extra pocket "Before" you sew it in the jacket.
