Value is based upon condition and the market. "Great shape" and "fair shape" provide little information on the condition. Most on this board know this and are wise not to give you a value before inspecting the rifles. Gun Broker will give a sense of the market nation wide. However, it may not represent your local market.

If you would like more information regarding the Mauser, I recommend the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5h3NnS8KBaE

They go through a collection of 22 trainers from Germany and discuss the evolution of those rifles. Mauser is discussed.

I got to see both of the rifles and I'm no Mauser expert but have handled a few Enfields before. Though I only took a quick look I can say the Enfield was in excellent condition and to the right collector definitely worth the investment. I know everyone thinks of 303 when it comes to them but the 22 trainers have a history and collectors value all their own.
