Looking for a 642. New, if you've seen any good deals, or used in good condition.

S&W makes the 642 without the lock also. I would find that one. I hate that stupid hole.
I got an e-mail just last week with a great deal on a no-lock but they sold out. I think it was Whittakers, or maybe PSA or Grabagun.
Also, one of them had a performance center 442 for $399.
When ordering, be sure and look at the total cost. Some companies have free shipping and some have $30 shipping.

Just saw on Armslist that Capitol Pawn on Pace Blvd has a used no-lock 642 for $350. I wouldn't give them that since you can get a new one for less but offer them whatever you think it's worth.

If I was going to buy one today, I would go to CDNN Sports and buy that no-lock Performance Center 442 for $379. That's a great deal and I'm considering one, even though I spent my 6 months gun budget in the past month.

I ordered and received mine this week. A great gun!
