That's a good deal with the rebate.
I would rather have the Mossberg but the cheapest I've seen them is $359.
My only problem with these guns is what if the ATF changes it's mind ?
I'm not a fan of the mossy safety location with a firearm that has potential to slip back under recoil. I also have decades with the 870 doing Tac and Combat reloads so I don't mind giving up one shell in capacity, I can feed it as needed. I still have not decided to buy one yet. Wife handled one last week at the gun show and wants one! She wants a CZ Shadow 2 also but its potential far exceeds hers. I'm a party pooper. Lol
I believe that ATF cannot simply change their mind on this like they did with the Sig Brace. They would have to actually change the law.
I believe that we are safe on this one. If not,it will be used strictly for home defense. --- SAWMAN
They are now marked out of stock.
But, I found a place in Pennsylvania that has them a few $ cheaper ($365 before rebate).
Anybody ever use Grice Gunshop ?
Bud's used to be the undisputed king of internet gun sales but I don't even check them any more. They haven't kept up.
Kentucky Gun Co., PSA, Whittaker's and especially Grabagun have become much better.
I didn't see the Zeiss scopes until they were sold out. Great deal.
The one thing that I don't like about Kentucky Gun Company is their sales price is usually the "cash discount price". If you use a credit card you have to add 3%.
I bought a AR from them and sent a money order to save $20. Of course, the risk is that it will sell out before your check gets there.
Bob, that hickok45 guy is the same one that (being the super kewl guy that he obviously is),shoots the gun in his off hand, single handed, outstretched at arms length, and tears his hand with the tang safety. IMO,he deserved it.
THEN . . . like that wasn't enough,he hastily loads a shell BACKWARDS and jams up the action.
I hear tell that he is the guy that trained(and "certified") Capt. Ron. (OUCH !!) --- SAWMAN
