Am torn between the MecTec upper or the Hi Point carbine.
If the price of the Hi Point will be <$350 might just wait and go with one of them first. There are things about the Hi Point that I do not like,however for the price would not be affraid to take my Dremel to it.They will be a straight blowback gun so no problem with the hardcast ammo. Mags will be cheap also. There are some good reviews of the 45ACP version,but the 10mm,with it's generated pressures,could produce a whole new set of problems.
Anyway . . . still have enough training ammo to be able to give whatever I get a good break in. (Bought Blazer at $12.50 for 50 about 10 years ago) ---- SAWMAN
