The photos I've seen of the RPR barrels show that they thread into the action, rather than slide in like an AR platform. I have no idea if they'll fit any other actions.

How does one come to having an extra Ruger Precision .308 barrel just laying around LOL!?

No they will not work on a AR-10 number one is it has no gas port., # 2 the lock up is different on the bolt , it does go on like a ar barrel with a barrel nut that is the only then like a AR that it has in common. just my 5 cents jj
