FYI: I spoke with Mr. Knight last week and he was very helpful and I enjoyed talking with him. All of his tables are rented. I swore off going to shows for the past 5 years. I broke down and went to his last show. I will be going back this year.

There was a AD/ND at the Hadji show this AM just before opening time. A guy was shot in the leg.
Would be willing to bet this makes the national news.
    Really sad. --- SAWMAN

Just what I heard - - -> Some guy brought in some guns to sell. He was friggin' with one and it fired, hitting another man in the leg. Luckily, one of the close by dealers was a FNP and quickly applied a dressing to the wound.
That is all I know. --- SAWMAN

I went around noon and it was a pretty decent show. Jay's and Mike's took up about 1/4 of the total space but I knew they didn't have anything I wanted so I just breezed on by.
I saw several nice vintage Winchester 94s. I took a second look at one nice Ted Williams model but priced a little more than I was willing to pay.
There were several vintage S&Ws that I would have made offers on if I didn't already have one just like it or close. One model 17 K-22 was particularly nice.
There was a nice Ruger MKII Competition Target (slabside) that I would have bought a year ago but since the MKIV came out the MKII isn't quite as attractive.
One guy had several Colts at Gunbroker asking prices. Nice guns but not many people around here willing to pay those prices.
It was a good mix of vendors. Lots of knife vendors, some cheap but mostly quality stuff.
    A good show overall.

Yeah, I was kinda hopeing that the big dealers would not be there. As stated, between the two,a big part of the shows guns were MSRP or greater.
I understand that they mostly sell to the uninformed or impulsive buyer . . . but DAMN !! --- SAWMAN

Picked up a few boxes of 7.62 for 3.99 a box. Saw some American made AKs, one Chinese and a Serbian underfolder. No magazines anywhere..

JJ, what did you have on your table and where were you located? Chances are I talked to you but have only met you once or twice so didn't recognize you.

I thought it to be ok, man, the "people" it brought out. People-watching was worth the price of admission. I had hoped for the kydex holster maker to be there but didn't see him.

jj, didn't even see you there. Where were you located ?? If your gonna be at these shows . . . let us know. My wife allowed me to take $1200 and it was burning a hole in my pocket. I most likely could have been talked into one of them Tanker Garands.
RPR's . . . ?? I wont even look at them until they produce a chambering with the bbl length that doesn't make me yawn. I can outshoot them with my 300BLK. --- SAWMAN
