    Anyone have any experience with this rifle? http://grabagun.com/savage-arms-16-trophy-hunter-xp-308-pkg.html

    Was thinking about picking one up for this coming up hunting season and wanted to get some feedback. The local Cabelas has the combo for $699 but they price match anyone, so I could get for $565 as advertised on Grabagun. Never owned a Savage before. This a good deal? I already have different glass I intend on using, but I'm pretty sure it comes with a Nikon Buckmaster scope.

    Heard good stuff about the accutrigger, but don't have any experience with it. Hopefully someone will chime in for ya.

    Well I just went and picked one up. Trigger feels real nice so far but the stock is undesirable. Will post a report when I actual get out to shoot it . Lord knows when that will be. Looking forward to a big ole Kentucky Buck

    Ive had several Savages. .308 and .223. I like the Model 10 , comes with accu-trigger and a Bedded stock.Very affordable also.there are also many aftermarket stocks available.Still have 2 and will never sell them.As with alot of stuff if you buy the base model you don't get the better product. I usually like to get the midrange to higher end model. If not I always wish I had.
