    Hey sawman,

Do you think if a person cut off a leg off of some jean's with a small inseam length, should work :clap2:

    Waaaaaaaaay too long Bob.
If the case is long enough to handle a standard 18" pistol grip, the 14" guns will disappear down inside them. ---- SAWMAN

Picked up my Mossberg Shockwave 20 gauge.

I am not a "shotgun person", although I have a 20gr BPS which I haven't fired in years. I thought the recoil with some skeet loads a friend gave me was rather quick. I probably just need to get used to it. Had some small brush/trees to cut down and feed to the goats, so I used the Mossberg and the skeet loads. Kneel down, point at base of tree (1 to 2" in diameter), fire, drag tree over to goats, repeat. I'll do some farther range shooting and hip shooting at some plastic jugs probably Wednesday.

Action seemed smooth enough to me, but certainly nothing near my SIG P210 in smoothness. Put a coat of LSA on all the moving parts that I could see without taking the firearm apart. Function with loaded ammo was 100%.

Glad you got your little baby tini tiney pop gun Bruce. Iffen you want to give some other brands and loads of shells a try let me know. I probably got 12-15 different combo's.
HOWEVER . . . . . you will never find a 20ga load that produces a recoil like the mini shells. Especially in buckshot.
I urge you to completely disassemble your gun for cleaning. Especially if it will be used for SD/HD. Mine was fairly dirty from the factory. ---- SAWMAN

Gonna fire it some more tomorrow and Wednesday and will then take it apart to clean and lube. It does feel light...I think it's just under 5 pounds empty.

Forgot to mention in my above . . . it was dirty from the factory.
I have completely disassembled (except for the trigger group) my gun 7 times now and it goes back together easier every time. The entire gun is getting looser and seems to function better.
I found some older dove/quail loads that I have had for some time now,and commenced to put them all thru the gun several weeks ago. The brush at the 15yd plinking range has all been pruned.
Try removeing the front sling swivel stud and the little split cap just under it (your mag spring will sit perfectly under the screw on mag cap ) and see if you can get one more either 2.75 or 3" in the 20ga mag. My gun will hold one more mini shell with these two parts removed and has been 100% reliable with both 2.75" and the mini shells.
Still likeing my gun. Wish I would have had one of these back in my guiding days. --- SAWMAN

I'm thinking the TAC14 might be a good truck gun or backpack companion for hiking. It's an interesting concept--I need to get my hands on one & see if it would meet my needs. I really wish they would pull SBS & SBR off the NFA list, but I doubt that will ever happen.

The above pic that Jaxon posted above has my interest. ESPECIALLY if that stock will get me <13 inches LOP. (Thanks for that info guys.)
I have to do some checking into just what is involved in a "Form 1". I have never filled out any of that ATF bribery/extortion paperwork so I do not know what is involved. ---- SAWMAN
