C4 may not be a bad option but the membership is not happy with how the board handled the situation or with the board in general.

Concern about why we need to be making more money

The "vision" of the board for the future of the range, mostly the issue that they haven't told anyone what that vision is

She won't have to worry about authority anymore soon...
I was really looking for a more specific/detailed answer to the "vision" question I asked. She simply refered to the survey, but I'm wondering if she has a "vested" interest in the club opening up it's status. I hate to sound judgemental but someone usually doesn't operate in secrecy unless there's some ill intention. I could be wrong though...

I still don't know at what point our behavior changed from a social club to a social welfare organization. We are and will always be a social club.

Thanks to my shooting bros for Facetiming this "meeting" with me while I was out of town on business!!! I agree with most...the secrecy involved to make such a major change to our range has to involve someone benefiting from it when they shouldn't. I know who I'm not voting for...
200 K in the bank. But we needed to change, to keep from paying 1500 a year in taxes? Less than 1% of our yearly imput? The "accountant guy" is currently payed $200 a month. Because the elected treasurer won't do the books ? WTF? elect a real accountant for treasurer and fire the cpa. WOW I just saved the 1500 tax money. I went in with an open mind. They had "politicspoke" enough crap for me, ten minutes in you knew. Something Strait up shady going on. I for one was not smoothed over.

Its still a great range. Its the people that are a huge part of it and there are alot of great people out there shooting. This to shall pass come election day!
I like ERGC and have promoted it for a couple years now. With that said, I would wait until the elections in June are over and we have a clear vision of what the range is going to be. But that's me...
