I've needed to make a little scratch on the side so I've been doing some bouncer work. Because of stupid liquor laws I can't carry while on the premises. However, I don't think that would apply to crossbows. Does anyone have any experience with crossbows in CQC? Perhaps recommendations of models? Any help would be appreciated.

Can you take down the elephant with a crossbow??? I'd suggest a spear, something you can really get your weight behind.... Besides it's hard to carry anything concealed wearing a loin cloth.
Put your sleeve gun around your thigh. What's the saying...better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6, or something like that.

Hey WD . . . want to buy my Cold Steel boar spear. I have saps,the older style black jacks,some rather large knives,some smaller tactical tomahawks, or I will put a roll of quarters in one of my lime green "shooting socks" for you.
As a bonus . . . . I have a farmer buddy that will most likely loan me his cattle prod if that'll work for ya. As the last resort,if they gang up on you,pick up a couple cans of CS gas. That should clear out the whold damn place.

Hey also,just remembering the old days when I was a bouncer at a rather well known bar in Mt. View,Ca. . . . . . to be hired we had to be able to bench press a 16.5gal keg of beer. Can you do that ?? If not,you should probably quit.

Either A: your Daryl Dixon.. (which your not)
Or. B: you are the single greatest compeditor for the Darwin Award we have seen yet.. (way more likely)
Are you planning to CC this crossbow?.. maybe a nice tactical drop leg holster.. or single point sling under trench coat?
You know what.. don't anwser that I would rather be surprised to learn the details when the trial starts..
