    Got the plate very cheap, that is what worried me the quality of steel. But I've put a couple thousand rounds on this plate with very minimal pitting.

    Not too bad then I guess. Mine have seen about 1k or so of mixed pistol and rifle. Very little pitting so far

    If You was hit that many times in one place, you would have a hole in you, so like nate said don't hit it in the center all the time open your group. Better then that bring me you ammo and I will shoot it for you. Just my 5 cents jj
