This is nothing new, they've most likely been doing this since the medieval times. Just take a look at the history of Spain, certain areas of it were at one time under Arab control long ago. What's different these days is air travel and stupid immigration laws have now made it easy for them to infiltrate just about anywhere in the world they want to.
