Anyone use any in ear electronic ear pro you would recommend? I like my electronic ear muffs, but wearing them all day for matches is pretty uncomfortable.

I've looked at those Peltors as well. Just wasn't sure if they were worth the money. I'm with RussSurfs, wanting to get in ear pro too.
I know there's some moldable ones out there that I've seen at a couple different matches. Tennjeep has some I believe.

They are pricey no doubt, but spending a lot of time on the range typically to me they were worth it. Our class days are 10-14 hours rain or shine for three days in a week so it's the small things that make it comfortable.

Certainly worth it if I was a trainer or full time RO for sure. As a weekend warrior though...that was my debate.

Yep, if I were only using them a 2-3 days a month I'd have a hard time justifying the cost.

The other thing I noticed with them is after 3 days on the range I no longer have my tinnitus at full speed and can hear my phone. Something that had been an issue for about a year before buying them.

I paid $50 for custom molded earplugs 13 years ago. Still using the same pair and use them quite a bit. I did have a back up set made a few years ago, but have yet to use them since the originals are still working fine.

At Camp Perry with rifles firing all around you and in the pit as rounds come through I don't think I have ever experienced any ringing. Unless I cracked one open for talking and forgot to seal it back up.

I got the earplugs on commercial row at Camp Perry, but I bet any hearing specialist can make them.

I have a molded set from PremEAR. http://www.premearhearing.com/index.htm . looks like they will have a booth at the AL Sectional match (Dothan AL). ear muff gets hot in warmer months and gives me headache from the glasses/muff pressure.

I'm getting a set made from them at the AL Sectional. I got a pair made from another similar vendor last may in Biloxi and they work well, I just want another pair.

I also use a pair of MSA Sordin electronic muffs with the gel cups. They are 1000% more comfortable than the Howard Leight Impact Sport.

Sadly I won't be making the AL sectional but I'll check their schedule.
