D.I.Y. Closing your own Threads and Ads

Any Mod want to take this for action? If Members could find instructions on this it might save the Mods some work. Also tell them they can re-open Threads they close ie... a item is available for sale again. I could fumble through writing the instructions but it wouldn't be professional Moderator quality.

Feel free to take over this Thread or delete and replace it with your own.

It is my understanding if it is your thread you can go to the Thread Tools Icon top banner and it will give you the option to close thread. You cannot delete it but can close it. This is what i have done in the past. Super Mods correct me if I am wrong..

Correct. Any member can edit or close his/her thread. I do believe it is the thread tools icon at the top of the thread window.
We typically do not delete old ads or threads because it is a useful tool for new members to guage the price of an item or looking up something for reference. This also refers to price, some members will delete all the info in an ad and then close it, per forum rules we ask that the info stay within the thread even if it's closed.
With that said I normally use the tapatalk app from my phone for simple stuff on the forum. It's a whole lot easier, for me anyway.
