I'm starting this thread with some ideas for gifts for gun lovers. If anyone runs across small items a gun person might like, post them here:

Here are some various items from Amazon. I have most, if not all of these items and they work well:

    Cleaning swabs: http://amzn.to/2h2mRct

    Cleaning picks: http://amzn.to/2g76pWd

Chopsticks (don't laugh, I use them all the time for various times when I don't want to mar the finish of a gun or part): http://amzn.to/2h2tcEy

    Double sided cleaning brushes: http://amzn.to/2ggXN2H

    Gunsmith punch set: http://amzn.to/2g6ajU6

Dead blow brass/plastic hammer (I have 2 of these and I use them ALL the time. I keep one in my range bag and one on my work bench): http://amzn.to/2hdan0n

Brass squib rod (very strong, this one works well for 9mm and larger): http://amzn.to/2gh69Yc

Flashlight (Small, but pack a big punch. I've probably got a dozen of these scattered around my house, truck, and work. May need to use rechargeable batteries in them because they can run down fairly quickly. Caution, might not get here by Christmas): http://amzn.to/2g7aE3T

Electronic ear muffs (These are fantastic. Allow you to hear what's going on around you while still protecting your ears from sound damage. Hard to beat for the price.): http://amzn.to/2gh8e69

Wood burner (for anyone wanting to stipple their guns): http://amzn.to/2h2m77i

Nitrile Gloves (keep your hands clean while reloading, cleaning, and working on guns): http://amzn.to/2gNFans

Ballistol CLP (light lubricant and cleaner. Smells better than a lot of the other stuff on the market): http://amzn.to/2gNPRX4

Pistol case (has a zipper pocket on the outside, magazine loops and pockets on the inside): http://amzn.to/2hdn2Aw

Ankle'ette type of shooting socks. In lime green, salmon, taupe, summer sunrise,or green mountain dew.
A "plus" would be with the Yeti,Monster Energy,Red Bull,Surfire,Nike,or Wilson Combat logo embroidered faceing outward just above the ankle.
Price point <$12. per pair would be another "plus". Would help to buy more ammo and keep you looking extremely good while shooting it. ----SAWMAN

Yes! I'll get these (http://amzn.to/2h6HeVC) and use my mom's embroidering machine to put a logo on them, then sell them for $25 a pair. Genius!

Me too, they've been part of my gun cleaning kit for many years.

Time to bump this thread back up, since it's nearing Christmas. Hopefully all of the links still work the the prices are relatively accurate.

    And . . . .
I was too busy being a smart ass last year and forgot to add to TJ's posts above. - - ->
    * With some experimenting and note taking, you will find there is a sweet spot with your rifle's stock screw torque where your groups will get better (or worse ). I have noticed this over the years with bolt guns and the single shots. Always tighten the aft screw first on a bolt gun, then put a given torque value on the more fwd screw. If you have a three screw stock, tighten the most fwd one then tighten the one by the mags floorplate (unless you have a "blind mag" gun) just tight enough to keep it snug . . . THAT's ALL.
On a single shot gun you can really improve your groups if you expierament with the torque value of the single forearm screw. This with the T/C Encores and older Contenders. Also with the NEF Handi Rifles.
All good reasons to own and use a torque wrench.
    * Digital Trigger Scale - - -> Not for use only on triggers. I use mine to weigh guns and gun parts. My scale goes to 12lbs. --- SAWMAN
