I have room for another optic in my collection, and I have no idea what I want, so I thought I'd check with you guys in case you have something collecting dust that could do the job for me. I'm looking for something along the lines of Aimpoint, Accupoint or Accupower 1-4x, MRO, ACOG, Leupold 1-4x, etc...
    Thanks!

Have you considered Burris MTAC or XTR line? They have an awesome ballistic calculator that does a reticle analysis for your exact load. Here's mine for Wolf steel case 6.5 Grendel. Pretty slick I thought. Also have it calculated for Hornady Amax 123g.

I have 2 burris extreme Tactical 1 x 8 x 24 xtrII coming and a 5 x 25 x50 xtrII ( gonna run this with a fastfire II ) for the new core 2 gun challenge series. the project jar is empty, trying to refill for a January 6.5 Creedmoor build to put the optics on. We probably should have a project support group LOL

not to sell, but you are welcome to try em out. brown Santa should be here in the next 10 days...

Looks like the series pretty much the same as the benefit match except out the 800 yards Rifle and Pistol and I got it in my head I'm going to get me some

    Really? Sounds sketchy.
How can they possibly expect limited division shooters running red dots and irons to get out to 800? Might as well run a 700 with a varmint scope! Lol

    Got it, thanks!
Very cool, but not my cup of tea.
I definitely want to try 3 gun, and for that a red dot or 1-4x would be fine. At the moment, and as much as I dogged on it, I just might try the MRO unless someone offers a good deal on something.

I've got the following if you're interested.

Burris XTR 1-4. It's the original, made in the USA. $400
    LWHL CMR4 1-4 Green ret $340
    MRO w/low mount $390

New Primary arms 1-6 with ACSS ret. $260

I like the reticle on the the CMR more than the XTR. I feel like the XTR is closer to 1x than the CMR. The PA 1-6 is nice for the money. Not sure you'd notice a difference for the extra money for the other 2.

Did the stuff with your MRO ever get resolved?

Trijicon said there was nothing wrong with either unit. I've seen come complaints from others about some slight magnification so I'm guessing it's just what you get with the MRO. Maybe I'm using it wrong. I have noticed the issue is reduced the further aft I mount the MRO. If I don't think about it, it works fine with the little bit I've shot it at ERGC. BUT, if I take my time and think about it, I can see it. Not sure how much of the issue is me but I've had no issues with any of the other (PRO, COMP, RMR etc) red dots I've looked through.

I am considering selling trading an aimpoint micro T-1 2 MOA. never used that came with my LWRC 6.8 as a promotion. Also thinking of moving a vortex viper HS LR 2.5 - 10 x 32 FFP. with the LR MOA reticle.

You're about 45 minutes to late for a sale, unfortunately.
What kind of trades would you have in mind?

I shot my MRO for about 15,000 rounds the first half of the year and it's worked well. I'm back on an H-1 for work on my short gun and a Bushnell 1-6.5 on my full size gun.
