I purchased a new tree stand recently but decided not to archery hunt anymore. (age 74).
I modified it to be more rigid and safe at 14 feet high! Would like to sell it for $60 cash as I have over $85 invested. It also comes with a safety harness.

A good deal comes along, and my luck, I bought a new stand 2 days ago. Some A-hole stole my tri-pod within past 3 weeks (milton).
Anyways, just curious as to what modifications you did on this one, maybe I could modify mine before putting it up? g/l on this deal. Thanks

I added vertical straps on the sides of the seat /foot assembly to take the "Flex" out of the formed / curved sides. removed the "bending / flexing out of this section.

Sounds like a good idea. I'd definitely bought this one had I not bought the 18' one 3 days ago. I added a 2nd brace (from ladder to tree). That joker had some sway in it. I appreciate the tip on strapping. I zoomed the picture up, and it looks pretty beefy, not like the super thin-wall ones that rust out in a season. Shouldn't have a problem selling it. g/l and thanks again.
